Loving your posts! Keep em coming. Did Eric make an offer on the bus? And great photos. Ann has run into sleet and snow in the eastern Sierra this week, but she can hunker down in her trailer. You two are tough !
Hey guys, thanks for taking the time each week to do this. Love, love, love hearing about your adventures, especially the people! Stay safe as your followers continue to monitor your progress. (Still hoping to see you on the Cowboy Trail).
Wow, what an adventure already! I echo the others....thanks for sharing and you guys are truly badass! This is all very inspiring. I am heading out on a 3 day bikepack next weekend somewhere in Southern Oregon, I'll be thinking of you both and your day after day adventures. What roads will you be on in the Sawtooths? My FAVORITE secret road and stream side hot spring is there and if you are going to be on FS road 674 along the S. Fork of the Salmon River, this is a must stop. It is a great biking road, one of the best in Idaho! Look for a staircase down to the river between mile markers 15 and 16 ;). Stay safe and keep the updates coming!
Hi Amy, thank you so much for the information! We are finding that route navigation is a day by day thing. Any Intel, such as yours, is really helpful with that. Have a great bike ride!
Here's wishing you a beautiful ride through the mountains, that the vistas, downslopes, and wildlife will make up for the upslopes! We'll be cheering you on each day!
That bus could make someone a nice home--particularly in Brogan. The current weather map for your up-coming route looks challenging. Remember to look for roadside hot springs when you get to the Sawtooths (especially around Stanley)--a chance to warm up. Enjoying your tales and pictures.
Thank you for sharing your experiences! Your week sounds beautiful , accomplished, and well…scary. Downhill on ‘is it wet or icy’ is one of my cycling nightmares. Keep turning the crank. xoxo
I too am really enjoying your account. It's such a reminder of the up and down flow of travel moments and the intense short term encounters you have with folks you'd never have encountered otherwise. The pics are a delightful addition. Thanks for the effort to share this odyssey. May you have more tailwinds!

A couple of hardy souls!!! Seems like it’s as much mental fortitude as physical. Awesome job you guys.

Who knew you could write such beautiful prose? I wish I was as brave as you guys are. One day this summer you will look back fondly on being cold!
Thank you Keith. We appreciate your kind comment.
